What is Sibling Therapy?
Individualized Therapy: Tailored to your unique family dynamics.
Understanding the Past: How early influences shape current relationships.
Goal-Oriented Sessions: Focused on achieving tangible improvements.
Welcoming Environment: Inclusive and supportive for all families.
Why would we dig up the past?
In adulthood, the echo of our family's unspoken rules—keeping secrets and presenting a united front—often dictates the rhythm of sibling relationships. This veil of silence, a legacy of navigating complex family dynamics, not only shapes our interactions but also feeds a reluctance to seek therapy and confront these shared, yet individually experienced, traumas. Adult Family Therapy invites siblings to step beyond these inherited narratives. It's a journey of uncovering, understanding, and ultimately rewriting the chapters of their collective story. In this space, siblings can bravely face their past, share both burdens and joys, and heal together. By addressing the fears and hesitations rooted in family secrecy, they can transform their connections, moving from avoidance and tension to empathy and authentic connection
“Siblings that say they never fight are most definitely hiding something”
―Lemony Snicket

Attendance: Sessions will alternate between the full group and individual or joint sessions with just one sibling pair at a time.
